THE STORY

I was in Paris when the idea for Memento Mori Sunglasses came to me. For a long time, I had dreamed of exploring the catacombs, reading countless articles about these ancient corridors beneath the City of Light’s streets and cathedrals. Here was something I could do to feed my hunger for frights and scares, something I could do to get a good story, something I could do to shoot some adrenaline into my veins. Down there, though, I felt something I had not fully expected: inspiration. I wanted to share my experience of the catacombs with everyone!

Looking at the skulls around me, I saw in them personalities. Each skull was different, shaped unlike any other skull. Although they shared death in common, they stood out from one another starkly and completely.
